My go to pizza place in Keene. The spaghetti and meatballs are no slouch either. Wait times can get a bit long if you go during peak hours, but thats pretty standard for a popular place downtown. Just call ahead like 30 minutes and pickup and you'll be fine. Most things are in the 10-15 dollar range for 1 person.

Atmosphere Plenty of cozy booths and tables, a clean and welcoming dining room, and big windows letting in the light of this system’s sun. You can watch the world outside while awaiting your bounty. Calm and casual—perfect for both Jedi councils and solo missions. Menu & Prices The menu is a galaxy of choices—pizzas, grinders, spaghetti, dinners, salads, and sides that could tempt even a Sith. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and with so many topping and sandwich options, you could eat here for weeks without repeating your order. What I Ordered Spaghetti with Meatballs – A generous portion of pasta with two massive meatballs swimming in rich, flavorful marinara. This dish could feed a Padawan and still leave leftovers for a midnight snack. Chicken Parmesan Grinder – Golden, crispy chicken cutlets with melted cheese and marinara tucked into a crusty grinder roll. Each bite was a lightspeed trip to comfort food heaven. Sweet Potato Fries – Crispy outside, tender inside, and a perfect sweet-savory balance. Service Friendly and efficient—orders came out hot and exactly as requested. The staff navigated the lunch rush like seasoned X-wing pilots. Verdict A solid choice in Keene for hearty, satisfying food with a classic hometown feel. Outstanding old school pizza joint. Food is outstanding. We got the chicken kebab plates and the chicken nuggets. Big portions, incredible value. Everything was fresh and fabulous. Taziki sauce was the best u ever had. Jimmy the owner came to our table to make sure everything was on point. Hard to find good old school pizza/sub/dinners places with multi-generational family ownership anymore. Athens is a gem.

Athens consistently makes great food in a city that struggles with constant restaurant turnover and there’s a reason why…….the food is great! Whether it’s a sub or pizza, the food is always fresh and delicious tasting. Every time I visit I always receive a friendly greeting and quick service, even during busy times. Seating inside is a little dated but comfortable. If you happen to visit during good weather there’s outdoor seating as well. There are lots of pizza options in Keene but I personally prefer Athens.

Free parking out front of this nice place for a sandwich, pizza or more. Family atmosphere with clean restrooms and beer and wine available. We enjoyed a pizza and soft drink, free refills available. Pizza is made to order and served hot, by a friendly staff. Dining is inside or outside on a few tables in the parking lot. Prices are competitive and I can recommend this place for casual dining.
